The Hide & Seek...

A street light used to be our light house at my village. Every evening under that street light was filled with laughter of many little kids playing numerous games that one can't count and I was one among those kids. I reluctantly sit to do my home work by the compulsion of my Mom, and then the miracle happens, You can't express that happiness in words when the electricity gets cut. We rush to our light house shouting happily. A quick decision made on what game to be played, It would be mostly 'hide and seek' when the power is out and when the power comes back, the happiness gets doubled. The shout of celebration would be more than before when the light returns back and it also revealed few hiding spots of our friends, It would be funny that some would hide very next to us in the dark. We burst to laughter when they get spotted under the light. Some popular hiding spots were - hiding just behind the person who counts - lying along with the people sleeping on the streets borrowing their bedsheets to hide. I don't know how many number of times we ruined some romantic moments of few couples because we rush to every house to hide ourselves. The game will last until every kids were called back by their parents, We won't give up until the number drops to three, and the light house would stand alone all night waiting for the kids to return. It never gave up, still waiting for the kids to return.

Thanks for reading,
Have a great day.
